Only two small lakes, Lac Clair and Lac des Pins, flow into Lac Vert. No one lives upstream and there are no commercial or industrial operations. The lake is approximately 4 kilometers long and shaped like a banana, with an estimated shoreline of about 11 kilometers. The depth at the center is believed to reach approximately 200 meters. At the southern end of the lake, directly across, there is a wild and untouched area featuring caves, picnic spots, and a cliff where people can safely jump into the water. Still facing south, slightly to the left, there is a waterfall and a trail leading to it. Looking south again, diagonally to the right, part of the land belongs to the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve, meaning no construction will ever be allowed in that area. A lake association actively works to maintain the health and quality of the lake. The water clarity is exceptional. Visibility exceeds 10 feet deep, which is rare nowadays. ***ACTIVITIES*** The lake is peaceful and quiet. There are very few motorboats on the lake.
